I"ve been hearing a lot lately about the demise of the newspaper industry because of lost revenue in classified ad sales due to free classified services like Craigslist. Now, aside from my old roommate buying a couch on Craigslist, I had never been on the site. Oh, how times have changed. My name is Lara and I am now a Craigslist addict. I can"t stop myself. I"m on the darn site constantly. It all began innocently enough when I decided I needed a second baby changing table so that I didn"t have to walk upstairs each time I needed to change a diaper. I spotted an area on Craigslist for baby and children. Pages and pages of baby furniture, toys and yes, changing tables, awaited me. I found a perfectly nice used changing table for $10, right in town, picked it up and was hooked.
